The School District of Phelps is a small, rural K-12 school district located in the western portion of the Nicolet National Forest on the Michigan border. The school overlooks the shores of North Twin Lake in Vilas County. There are approximately 1,366 year round residents in the township of Phelps, but in the summer the population increases by up to five times. The school also serves as the community center. |
