By law, school districts are required to provide certain annual notices. Notices are listed below and are also available on the Phelps School District BoardDocs webpage. This list may not be all-inclusive as others can be found navigating this website. More notices will be added as they become available. Annual Notice of Academic Standards
School districts are required by state statutes to notify the parents/guardians of students enrolled in the district of the academic standards in mathematics, science, reading, writing, geography, and history that have been adopted by the School Board and that will be in effect for the school year.
Notice of Non-Discrimination (Code 527)
If any person believes that the School District or any part of the school organization has inadequately applied the principles and/or regulations of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, or the Wisconsin Pupil Nondiscrimination law or in some way discriminates on the basis of gender, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, age, physical, learning, mental or emotional disability, she or he may bring forward a complaint to the District Administrator who will follow board approved complaint procedures. Student Religious Accommodations
Phelps School will provide for the reasonable accommodations of a student's sincerely held religious beliefs regarding examinations and other academic requirements. Please see student handbooks for more details.
School Wellness Policy
Asbestos Management Plan
The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) requires school districts to inspect their buildings for asbestos-containing building materials and develop, maintain, and update an asbestos management plan. Persons wishing to inspect the plan may contact Dustin Spink.
Indoor Air Quality
